Tatty Teddy Delivers Smiles Across the Isle of Man

As part of the Greeting Card Association’s 100 years celebrations, Me to You has released a Tatty Teddy stamp which launched on the 28th October.

The stamp, which features a Christmas themed Tatty Teddy, is one of six designs picked by the GCA as part of its ongoing mission to encourage more hand-written card sends.

A contingent including the GCA and representatives from each of the publishers who have created stamps for the Spirit of Christmas Collection, along with Tatty Teddy will visit the island on 21st November to officially post their Christmas Cards.

To celebrate the stamp’s launch, a First Day Cover will be launched on 28th November to coincide with Tatty Teddy’s visit to the Isle of Man. The First Day Cover will include a specially designed hand-sketched collectors’ envelope and exclusive Me to You hand stamp. Inside collectors will enjoy a beautiful limited edition print entitled ‘Tatty Teddy ‘TT’ on the Isle of Man’ by Me to You Principle Artist Steve Mort Hill. This First Day Cover is strictly limited to 200 pieces and will be available to purchase on the Isle of Man Post Office website.

Speaking of the stamp’s creation, Grace Elphinstone, Marketing Manager said, ‘We are thrilled to be part of this opportunity with the IoM Post Office and the GCA to have our Me to You brand feature on one of the six commemorative stamps.’
