Blue Nose Storytelling & Fun at Alton Towers

1/8/2013 Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends has partnered with Alton Towers Resort to host an exciting Storytelling Weekend at Alton Towers.

On Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th August the enchanting Storytelling Weekend will include Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friend character appearances, face painting, a fun treasure trail, storytelling, competitions, prizes and much more. The event will take place each day from 5pm at Ma Garittas Bar in the Splash Landings Hotel, where children can unwind with Blue Nose fun after an exciting day in the theme park.

Carte Blanche, the creators of the Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends brand, launched a competition in July to give young fans the opportunity to take part in the magical storytelling event. Children aged 11 and under were asked to write a short story featuring Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends, with the most imaginative entry from seven year old Emma Benney of Chorley, Lancashire being awarded a family stay in the cute Tatty Teddy themed room at the Alton Towers Resort Hotel, along with passes to enjoy an action-packed day in the Alton Towers Theme Park. Two runner’s-up, Honor Chilvers (age 11) and Emma Haytek (age 8), also scooped prizes of tickets to the theme park for a family of four.

Carte Blanche Brand Manager, Catherine Lawrence comments “We received an amazing amount of entries to the competition, proving just how responsive kids are to our brand. We really enjoyed reading all of the stories, all of which included wonderful amounts of detail and imaginative storylines for Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends.”

The Alton Towers Hotel features two Tatty Teddy themed rooms which are available to book at and are a must for Blue Nose fans everywhere.
