Tatty Teddy was among the celebrity guests at this summer’s Race for the Kids organised by Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The race on Sunday June 6th was a huge success, with over 4,000 competitors taking part. Tatty Teddy and Carte Blanche staff handed out blue noses and My Blue Nose Friends goody bags to many of the charity runners.

A group of loyal Me to You fans even formed their own team to race in the annual 5k challenge at Battersea Park in London. So far, over £190,000 has been raised for the children’s hospital, with donations still coming in.

‘We were delighted when Great Ormond Street asked us to take part in this wonderful event,’ said CBG Trade Marketer, Julia Andrews. ‘It was great day, and GOSH has already invited us to attend next year.’

She added: ‘A big thank you to the Me to You fans who travelled from all over the country to run and meet Tatty Teddy. The money they raised will help buy vital hospital equipment.’

Tatty Teddy even rubbed shoulders with a few celebrities himself, including the Radio 1 DJ and TV presenter Vernon Kaye.
