It’s great to celebrate having special friends and loved ones.
Why not make a collage of all those special people in your life.
You will need:
Scissors, a thick piece of card, paper glue, photos of your friends, newspapers and magazines, and any other crafty materials you've got lying around.
Important: please don't forget to ask permission to cut up photographs! Perhaps you can photocopy or scan any precious photos so you can keep the original in one piece.
A good collage is made up of any pictures, ideas, thoughts or messages that you want to include. Anything goes.
Start by going through magazines and newspapers to cut out any interesting words and images that catch your eye.
We’ve also provided lots of fun images on the next sheet. Pick a frame to stick around a photo of your friends. Or cut out the cake and write a special person’s birthday date on it… so you’ll never forget!
Why not stick on an envelope to store all your letters in?
Add a message label next to photos of friends, and write a little bit about them. What are their hobbies? What makes them a good friend? Do you have things in common? Perhaps you both love Tatty Teddy?
Remember - there is no right or wrong way to make a collage - just have lots of fun and be creative.
