These lovely cakes will be a delicious treat for all the family.
Don’t forget to ask an adult for help.

Tatty Teddy Fairy Cakes

You will need:
12 Paper Cake Cases, 12 Hole Bun Tray, 100g (4oz) Soft Margarine 100g (4oz) Caster Sugar, 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence, 2 Eggs, 100g (4oz) Self Raising Flour.

And to decorate...
Blue Sweets, Tube of Ready Made Black Icing, Icing Sugar, Black Food Colouring.

Pre-heat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas mark 4.

Place all the cake ingredients into a bowl or food processor and beat together until smooth.

Now place your 12 paper cases into the bun tray and spoon in the mixture in roughly equal portions.

Place the tray in the oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until well risen and the sponge springs back when you press with your fingertips.

Allow to cool.  Make up the icing according to the packet instructions, adding a tiny drop of black food dye to turn it grey.

Spread over the cakes, press on the blue button nose and allow to set.

Finally, squeeze on black icing eyes and mark out the bear’s muzzle and patch with a cocktail stick. Yum!

I’ve tried several times to print this recipe, but I keep receiving an error stating that the document has been closed (even though the page is still open).  I need help!  Does any one have a PDF version available?
