Me to You Artist
Hi, I’m Tom. I’ve been a Me to You artist for two years now, working on Tatty Teddy artwork for clothing and accessories. I’ve been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and after school I went on to gain a degree in Fine Art at Cheltenham. Over the years, I’ve had many unlikely jobs to fund my artistic career, including forestry, gnome making, IT and artificial tree painting. I was a self-employed illustrator for four years, before coming to work for Me to You.
I live on the South Coast with my partner and our talkative parrot, Sprout, and cycle to the Carte Blanche offices each day. It’s fantastic being paid to draw in such an inspiring environment. In the studio we are encouraged to think creatively, to experiment with new ideas . . . and I don’t have to wear a tie! Carte Blanche is a fabulous company to work for.
