Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends wowed visitors at the London Toy Fair this week - and they even made friends with some famous new fans.

Internet sensations Sophia Grace and her cousin Rosie, whose cute pop videos have gained over 30 million hits on YouTube, enjoyed a tea party with their favourite blue-nose characters when they visited the Carte Blanche stand.

The little girls couldn’t wait to try out the exciting new toy range developed by Carte Blanche and its award-winning licensees.

My Blue Nose Friends collectable characters and play sets, developed with licensee Worlds Apart, proved a big hit with eight-year-old Sophia Grace and Rosie, five. They also had fun with the Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends interactive plush toys, and even found time for lots of cuddles with life-size Tatty Teddy and Toots the Elephant.

At this year’s Toy Fair, Carte Blanche created a spectacular joint stand with Worlds Apart. Designed as a magical journey through Tatty Teddy’s house, the stand included a reception hallway, bedroom, living room, enchanted room and ‘outdoor’ area.

On display was the full toy range, including:

• Interactive Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends
• Dress-Up Tatty Teddy
• Shaker Maker and creative play from Flair
• Role play collection from HTI
• Collectable figures and play sets from Worlds Apart.

“The stand looked absolutely incredible and there was a huge amount of interest from the trade,” said Alister Marchant, Carte Blanche CEO. “So much work has gone into developing our toy range – to see the products brought to life was truly fantastic and created a real buzz.”

“Sophia Grace and Rosie’s visit with their parents was a highlight of the event. They were adorable girls, and we’re confident that their delighted reaction will be mirrored by children up and down the country when these toys hit the shelves in the autumn.”
