What is NoPostie?

NoPostie is a new online service for sending unique animated messages to friends, family and loved ones.  There are 3 simple steps get started – choose a beautiful animation, add a personal message, then send to a person or group and invite others to contribute.  You can create a really special and unique experience for your friends and family and they can contribute too!

This isn’t just a great one off experience. All messages are saved forever, so your friends and family can enjoy the animation and conversation all over again, whenever they want.

Do I need anything special to use NoPostie? What are the system requirements?

You will need to have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player to view the NoPostie animations. To install it for free click here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.  You will also need to have javascript enabled on your browser – get help doing this from Google.

What are the rules for using NoPostie?

We want you to enjoy your experience with NoPostie and have produced some Community Guidelines to help you do just that.

Signing Up

There are lots of free eCard sites so why do you charge for yours?

NoPostie is special for lots of reasons – here are some of the main ones…

1. Every stop-frame animation has been created with love and care by Carte Blanche Greetings. Nowhere else will you find Tatty Teddy making a cup of tea, or a collection of Peeping Toms, created with the same attention to detail you are used to seeing on real cards in the shops.  We’re sure you always wanted to see your favourite characters come alive and now you can!
2. When you have animations as beautiful as these you want to share them.  NoPostie is the service created to do this, and because they are saved forever, your friends and family can enjoy the animation and conversation all over again, whenever they want.
3. To continue to create animations that live up to the high standards of our fans (that’s you!) expect, we make a small charge.  At £9.99 you can send as many beautiful animations as you want for a full year – that’s a lot of sending for a very small price.  We hope you agree that you get great value for money, and we will continue to add great new content ongoing.

How do I sign up?

Click the Sign Up link that can be found at the top of every page and fill in your details. You will be sent an email that contains your password. Once you’ve received your password - you can sign in here.

I didn’t receive an email containing my password – What’s wrong?

It’s possible that this email was delivered to the junk folder of your email account. Take a look in there. To prevent this happening in the future you should add to your allowed senders list.
If the email containing your password wasn’t in your junk folder, check out these tips:

1. Is your inbox full? Check your inbox quota.
2. Your firewall could be blocking emails from Carte Blanche Greetings. Check your firewall settings
3. You may have mis-spelled your email address.  If you don’t receive your password within 12 hours please contact us.

Why can’t I sign in?

The most common problem is usually an incorrect email address and/or password. Double check you’ve got these right, and if you are still having problems, contact us. Remember that email addresses take the form of .

I see there’s a free trial – how does it work?

You can choose to sign up for a free trial before you subscribe to the full service.  You will be able to see all of the beautiful animations and send a maximum of 5 cards within 2 weeks of signing up.  If you want to send more, just upgrade to a full account for just £9.99.
This won’t affect messages you receive, which you will be able to see forever whether on free trial or not.

What do I get when I sign up to a full account?

Lots! You get access to the full catalogue – all of the beautiful animations are yours to send as many times as you like, and all the conversations you have ever been involved in through NoPostie.
You can also use our calendar service to set reminders for important dates like birthdays, anniversaries or special events.

How much is it?

12 months unlimited use of NoPostie is just £9.99.

Do I get charged for each message after that?

No – that’s the great thing about NoPostie. You can enjoy unlimited sending of beautiful animated messages for only £9.99 for 12 months. This annual subscription is great value, costing you less than £1 a month for unlimited use of the service. If you want to try us out sign up and select our two week free trial.

My Messages

Are my messages private?

Yes. Messages are only be seen by the people invited to see them. They will not be displayed publicly.

I’ve been sent a NoPostie message but I haven’t received it – where is it?

It’s possible that your message was blocked by a spam filter. To ensure your special messages from NoPostie always arrive in your inbox, you can configure your spam filter and add to your list of allowed senders.

I’ve received my message but I can’t view it – what’s wrong?

Check that you meet the system requirements.

How can I see all my special messages?

Simply sign in - you entire history will be in ‘My Messages’

Can I download the animations?

No but you can always come back to NoPostie and view your messages forever.

How can I report abuse?

We want NoPostie to be a great service for the whole community. If you feel that another member is breaking the community guidelines, please contact us so that we can help

Are my messages ever deleted?

No. All messages are stored forever for you to enjoy in ‘My Messages’. This applies to messages sent, received or those that you’ve joined in on.

Can I print a message?

NoPostie greetings are meant to be seen on the web rather than printed.  Our terms and conditions allow you to print off one copy for personal reference only.

Sending a message

How can I send a message with NoPostie?

There are three simple steps to sending a personalised animated message with NoPostie. ‘Take a Tour’ to see how NoPostie makes it easy to make friends, family and loved ones feel special.  Or give it a go – its so easy, you will fly through it!

How do I share a message with a group?

You can send a message to an individual or group – simply use the ‘Add another person’ link when you are creating the message. 
Perhaps you want others to join in?  Use the ‘Invite somebody to add their own message’, and invite others to contribute to the message.

What’s the difference between sending to someone, and inviting someone?

Say it’s your sisters birthday - you want to send a beautiful animation to her and invite the rest of your family to join in.  Simply send the card to her, but invite everyone else.  Or say a colleague is getting married - you might send to the bride and groom and invite your team mates to contribute.  Easy!

Can I use the animations elsewhere?

These animations are exclusive to NoPostie and cannot be used anywhere else. Our terms and conditions provide more information.

My Account

Can I change my password or screen name?

You can edit any your personal details, including your password, by signing in to NoPostie and clicking ‘Your Profile’ at the top of the page. You can upload or change your profile picture, turn email alerts on or off, change personal information and change your password.

I forgot my password – how do I get a new one?

Don’t worry – just click on the link on the sign-in form, type in your email address and press ‘Request reset’. Then check your inbox for a message from us, telling you how to reset your password. You’ll just need to sign in and you will automatically be directed to Your Profile, where you can change your password to something more memorable

How can I add a picture to my messages?

Two ways - when sending a message you can upload a new picture to accompany all your messages and posts, or you can update your profile picture in My Account.

How do I delete my account?

Do you want to cancel your NoPostie subscription, or delete your Carte Blanche profile across all our sites?

To cancel your NoPostie subscription, contact us.
IMPORTANT: The cancellation of your subscription will take effect immediately. NoPostie cannot provide refunds where a subscription is cancelled before the expiry of the Subscription Period.

To delete your Carte Blanche profile, sign in to NoPostie go to ‘Your Profile’ . Go to ‘Delete your account’ and if you are certain that you want to close your account, enter your password in the box and click the ‘delete my account’ button.  Be careful – this will also delete your profile on our Online Store, Me to You and out other brand sites.  You will lose any points you have accumulated and your Online Store discount (if you have one).
