NoPostie isn’t just another e-cardby
However times change. All of us acknowledge the web as a hugely powerful medium for communication and in fact we now spend more time on the web than we do watching television or talking on the telephone. There is no doubt we send more electronic messages than we do physical greeting cards.
For Carte Blanche this offered us the opportunity to develop a new and complementary greeting market that allows the user to send high quality involving online messages.
There are lots of ecard services on the web and we sampled them all over the last twelve months. There’s no doubt that good content exists out there but we felt nothing came close to achieving the emotional high that you get as the sender or recipient of a physical card. For the sender you get the pleasure of matching the card and the emotion to the recipient and for the recipient you get a high-quality card that obviously took time and effort to choose. You get the thoughts and wishes of the sender – or senders - and you get the opportunity to thank them; knowing that they care about you. Everybody gets to feel special; the physical card is the catalyst for everyone involved to feel loved or cared for.
Until the launch of NoPostie there is a general feeling that e-cards services just haven’t delivered. They have felt a little impersonal and perhaps indicated a lack of forethought, care or planning. The content offered by e-card services is often good… but not great – not something that shows you really care. The ability to involve other people in the conversation or emotion of sending an on line greeting has been virtually non-existent. It’s simply a one-way piece of communication between you and the recipient. Instant and convenient doesn’t necessarily add up to special or heart-felt.
These are the opportunities we feel we’ve addressed with NoPostie. We’ve spent a huge amount of time creating animations that are of an exceptional quality; amazing messages that anybody would be delighted to send or receive. We’ve recognised that sending a card is a two-way (or many-way!) street, it’s a real conversation. NoPostie allows you or you and your friends to send a greeting to many people – starting a rich conversation that can develop over time, and be saved forever. We’re also offering this cost effective addition to sending a physical card via a gorgeous easy to use interface at an affordable price.

I live so far from my family, I live in Dubai and they live in the UK so this is just the best thing ever for me to really express how I feel especially since the me to you card range nor other products is available here in the UAE. Please, please, please think about launching it here - I know so many people who would love it!! Well done on your hard work, I absolutely love it!! x

Love the No posties, might send one in a minute, see how far it gets - I like the idea of getting lots of people involved in group messages - can you have as many people as you want signing one card? (If so, maybe you could set a world record!)
