UK deliveries – byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace offers two different delivery options in the UK. You can choose between Standard delivery, (delivery between 3-5 days) and Express (delivery within 2-3 working days). For all orders of personalised goods, please allow an extra working day.
byCarteBlanche/Me to You My Place will only deliver to UK, Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. We aim to reach addresses within 4 working days (a maximum of 21 days). Due to the broad range of items and potential locations the costs vary enormously. We have negotiated very favourable rates with efficient carriers. Unfortunately due to a rise in delivery costs, we are no longer able to deliver to the rest of Europe or overseas.
How to Buy
Shopping with us is easy. Simply add items to your basket and when you are ready to buy click on “checkout” in your basket.
When “proceeding to checkout”, you are given 3 options to choose from (if you are not already signed in):
- Sign in to an existing byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace account
- Create a new byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace account
- Check out as a guest – for customers who do not have an account and do not wish to set up an account.
There are 5 simple stages to complete in the checkout process:
- Billing Address
- Shipping Address
- Shipping Method
- Order Review
Payments are made through Sagepay & Paypal, a secure independent payment provider. This information will need to be re-entered for each purchase made.
We accept payments from the following major credit cards, MasterCard, Visa, Solo, Switch, Maestro, Visa Electron and Delta.
No responsibility can be taken by Carte Blanche Greetings Ltd for incorrect or incomplete details submitted on the website. When your payment has been authorised you will receive a receipt via email which you should keep as a reference as you may need to quote your transaction number at a later date if you have any queries regarding your order.
Your order will then be processed and items will be despatched. We make every effort to make sure that your order leaves the warehouse on time. On occasion this may prove difficult due to stock levels or incorrect details supplied. Please make sure you fill in the correct contact details when you place your order.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us for an exchange or full refund. Please return within 14 days using the returns form and pre-paid address label supplied with your order to:

Goods should be returned back in their original packaging as we are unable to offer an exchange or refund on worn or damaged goods.
On return please select one of the following as the reason for your return:
A) Item has manufacturing fault
B) Item damaged in transit
C) Item did not match description
D) Item of clothing did not fit
E) Item delivered different from order
F) Item arrived too late
You will not have any right to return any products that have been personalised, customised or otherwise modified at your request.
Unfortunately, due to the costs involved, the gift wrapping service charges for returned orders cannot be refunded.
Refunds will be made to the card which you originally used for the purchase.

In the ‘My Account’ section you can manage everything to do with your account and orders. You can track the progress of orders, change your account information, manage your address book, set event reminders and much more!
Please note: changing your personal information on the byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace website will change your profile across all the Carte Blanche Greetings sites you are registered with.
Forgotten Your Password
Forgotten your password? Don’t worry – just click on the link on the sign-in form, type in your email address and press ‘Send’. Then check your inbox for a message from us containing your new password. You’ll just need to sign in and change your password to something more memorable.
The byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace Wishlist is a really clever way for you to let others know which products from the byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace store you would like to receive.
You need to be registered with byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace and logged in to your account to add products to your Wishlist.
To add a product simply click on the ‘Add to Wishlist’ button next to any product.
To view your Wishlist simply click the link at the top of the page, and add notes against any of the products in your Wishlist.
You can share your Wishlist with friends and family, who will receive an email containing the name, image, the price, a link to the product detail page and an add to basket button for each item on your Wishlist. The email will also contain a link to see all the items on your Wishlist on the online store and an option to add all items in the list to the basket.
Calendar and Reminders
The Calendar link gives you access to your personal byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace calendar. You can view events added byCarteBlanche Greetings/metoyoumyplace (including Me to You events) and you are able to add your own events too. To do this move your cursor over a chosen date and click the ‘Add Event’ link that appears. Simply fill in the event details, click ‘Add Event’ and it will appear on your calendar. You can choose the type of event and whether you want to receive an email reminder of your event. To edit events just select the event and update the details in the ‘Edit Event’ form. You can also select ‘Delete’ to remove an event altogether.
You can also set a reminder to buy a specific product on a particular date. Just click ‘Remind Me’ on the relevant product page.
Points and Discounts
One of the great things about shopping with us is that you will earn points when you purchase from byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace. When you have earned 500 points we will reward you with a 5% discount on your purchases. When you have earned 1000 points you will enjoy a 10% discount.
You can earn extra points on metoyou.com which will unlock downloadable rewards and increase your level of discount on byCarteBlanche/metoyoumyplace. Points can be earned by visiting the site, joining discussions, playing games and uploading stories, photos, activities and recipes. When you upload items other users can ‘rate’ it by clicking on the heart and adding their ‘like’ for the item. To receive points your item needs to be rated a certain number of times . . . and the higher the number of ‘likes’ the more points you can collect.
Gift Wrapping Service
Make someone’s gift even more special with a gift bag from our wonderful range. We’ll even arrange to have the gift tag handwritten by one of our artists!
Please note that the gift wrapping service is offered per product. If you need more than one item gift wrapped don’t forget to select gift wrap options for each item separately.
Requesting the gift wrap service is easy. Simply select your options on the product detail page by choosing a gift bag, adding the ‘To’ and ‘From’ names you’d like handwritten on the gift tag and adding your selection to the basket. We will then prepare your order.
If you need to change the gift wrap selection after you’ve added it to the basket, you can do this before you confirm your order. Simply return to the product detail page, choose your new options and add to the basket. And don’t forget to remove your original selection from the basket!
If you have already confirmed your order and wish to change the gift wrap options you’ll need to cancel the order and place a new one with your revised gift wrap choices.
Your gift wrap options will be shown in your basket summary and confirmed in your order receipt.
Unfortunately, due to the costs involved, the gift wrap service charges for returned orders cannot be refunded.
From time to time we will release a promotion code which will allow you to take advantage of a special offer. To use a promotion code add the items you wish to purchase to your basket and then proceed to the checkout. Enter the promotion code into the ‘promotion code’ box and click ’apply’ to add the discount and display your new order total.
